Terms & Conditions

Splish Splash Wolverhampton Terms and Conditions.

Parents are required to sign to identify that they agree to the Terms and Conditions of booking. Parents are also responsible for ensuring that any visitors who accompany them to the lessons also follow this guidance.

Registration and payments

Swimmers pay for the full term of lessons. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received. Payments will be returned or carried over to the next term if a class has to be cancelled due to the lesson provider being unable to run the session. If you are unable to attend a scheduled class and are offered a catch up session at an alternative time and this catch up class is then cancelled you will not receive a refund as this is not your registered class. Unfortunately the booking fee is non-refundable in all circumstances and we don't issue refunds for missed sessions due to your own circumstances.

Splish Splash Wolverhampton reserve the right to remove from our programme, without refund, anyone who is found to be bullying, misbehaving or displaying disruptive behaviour.

You must declare all medical conditions during registration and keep us up-to-date should this change by emailing/calling us at:

splishsplashwolves@gmail.com, 07885981502.

Splish Splash Wolverhampton or any of their staff are not responsible for any loss or injury during the class.

The poolside

NO OUTDOOR FOOTWEAR is allowed on the poolside.

Teachers are responsible for the swimmers during the lesson time. Parents take full responsibility for swimmers before and after the lessons on the poolside and in the changing rooms.

Photographs

Parents are able to take photographs and videos during lessons but must aim to only take photographs and videos of their own child. If parents then choose to share these, they must double check that no other swimmers are on these photographs before they share them. – This policy also extends to the use of phones in the changing facilities. Parents are responsible for ensuring that any visitors to the sessions are also aware of these rules.

You must declare if you do not want your child to be photographed for marketing use, and keep us up-to-date should this change using the given email address or phone number.

Nappies -

As is standard for toddler swimming lessons, we request that parents use a double nappy protection for their swimmers so that there are no accidents in the pool or disruption to lessons. (For example – a disposable swimming nappy and a neoprene reusable nappy)

Nappies are to be taken home to be disposed of, due to their being no facility to dispose of dirty nappies on site.

Illness –

We understand that babies can often have sniffles and snuffles, and if this is the case then they are still fine to take part in the swimming lessons, however if your child has a bad cold, cough, temperature or if they have had a more serious illness (such as ear infection, chicken pox etc) we advise that they stay at home until fully recovered. If you are ever unsure about whether to bring your child swimming please seek the advise of a medical or health professional.

We always ask for information about any medical conditions that your child or the accompanying adult may have so we are aware of these for the sessions. We will always recommend that you seek medical advise before starting your child with swimming lessons to ensure swimmers have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Changing facilities -

There are changing facilities provided at Penn Hall School and Westcroft School. Parents are reminded that the changing facilities are used at their own risk and parents have full responsibility for their children when using these facilities.

Please ensure that you arrive with plenty of time to get changed before your lesson to ensure that we can make the most use of the space provided in the changing rooms particularly at lesson changeover times.

Please also ensure that visitors do not accompany parents and children into the changing rooms unnecessarily so that the changing facilities can be used by those who require them.

Please bring your own changing mat to change your child on.

If you notice anything that concerns you with regards to the changing facilities please notify the lifeguard or teaching staff. We will then be able to try and work with parents to resolve any issues.

Use of equipment within lessons

All equipment used by babies and toddlers during lessons is to be supervised by an adult.

Toys given out as badges as part of our award scheme must also be used under supervision of an adult.

Pool temperature

Swimming lessons will take place when the temperature of the pool is above 30 degrees. (This is following the baby and toddler swimming guidance of our governing body the STA)

Any swimmers under 3 months will have the opportunity to be refunded for sessions where the pool is below 32 degrees.

Communication with Staff–

If you have any concerns with the lessons or the facilities please communicate this to the staff who will do their best to resolve any issues during the session.

We do not tolerate any offensive or aggressive behavior towards members of staff and if this occurs parents will be asked to leave the facility.

If you have a complaint regarding the provision of the lessons, staff or the facilities you are to contact Laura at splishsplashwolves@gmail.com where your complaint will be logged and will be dealt with according to our complaints procedure.
